In 1810, Wentworthville was named after the Wentworth family, along with Wentworth Falls and Wentworth. In 2007, the northern part of Wentworthville was redrawn to become Constitution Hill. According to the 2016 census, the suburb has a population of approximately 11,000 people.
Wentworthville has access to a wide range of public transport services including trains and buses. It is also in close proximity to the M4 Motorway and the Cumberland Highway. Wentworthville is home to various schools, swimming pools, a library and sporting parks. The Wentworthville Magpies are a local rugby league team which are a feeder club to the Parramatta Eels.
